"EVOLUTION VS. CREATIONISM"

Boldfaced statements are parts of the original essay (or a subsequent reply) to which the respondent has directed his comments.

Italicized/emphasized comments
prefaced by (R) are those of the respondent and are presented unedited.

My replies appear under the respondent's comments in blue text and are prefaced by my initials (MB).

(R) Life springing from nothing sounds just as silly if you ask me.
(MB) I agree. However, life does not spring from nothing -- unless, of course, one buys into the Biblical mumbo-jumbo about God creating everything from the void.
A living being is formed from the same elements as everything else in the universe. It most certainly does not spring from nothing.

(R) Evolution is a faith, not a fact.
(MB) Evolution is a fact since it is based upon facts. Those facts are testable and observable by anyone without regard to their personal religious beliefs or non-beliefs.
